A well known attorney in Orlando was arrested late last week on suspicion of intoxicated driving after refusing to submit to a DUI breath test when asked by Tampa police officers.
The attorney pulled over to assist his girlfriend who had been stopped by police last Friday for running a red light at an intersection. Police statements report that the officer involved smelled alcohol on both individuals’ breath and noticed signs such as bloodshot eyes and staggered walking that strongly suggested intoxication.
The two were eventually arrested after debating with the officer, and refusing to submit to field sobriety tests.
