AnnMarie Jenkinson
AnnMarie Jenkinson is an Associate Attorney with Katz & Phillips, P.A. AnnMarie attended Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Florida, and then pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
She graduated from Rollins College Cum Laude in 2005. AnnMarie began the journey to her legal career in 2006 when she commenced her legal education at Barry University – Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During her education at Barry University, AnnMarie was President of the St. Thomas More Society, an organization whose purpose is to promote high ethical and moral standards in the legal profession. She also earned high honors in Healthcare Law and Trial Advocacy. AnnMarie also participated in a clinical internship at Barry University Children and Families Legal Clinic. As a Certified Legal Intern approved by the Florida Supreme Court, AnnMarie represented dependent children under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
In 2007, AnnMarie joined a personal injury firm as a legal intern while attending law school at Barry University. As an intern, she became familiar with all aspects of personal injury law, helping to work on the firm’s personal injury cases. She sat for the Florida Bar Exam in July 2009, passed and was admitted into the Florida Bar in October 2009. That same month AnnMarie was promoted within the firm to Associate Attorney where she continued to handle personal injury cases.
In September 2010, AnnMarie left the personal injury firm to join Katz & Phillips, P.A. as an Associate Attorney handling family law and personal injury law. As an Associate Attorney with Katz & Phillips, P.A., AnnMarie has gained valuable litigation experience, and she has led family law trials. AnnMarie has become intimately familiar with several areas of family law, including: uncontested divorces, contested divorces, domestic violence injunctions, child support, alimony, paternity issues, parental time-sharing (often referred to as child custody), matters involving relocation, dependency matters, and modifications.
In addition to her family law cases, AnnMarie continues to handle personal injury cases. AnnMarie handles various areas of personal injury law, including auto accidents, slip and fall injuries, theme park related injuries, and dog bite claims.
AnnMarie strives for excellence daily while seeking justice for her clients. She is an aggressive attorney and a determined advocate for her clients. AnnMarie is a member of the Florida Bar, and an Associate Member of the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court.
